Problem: The Indian Trader Required BCL Letter
An Indian trader operating a petrochemical business wanted to expand by increasing production and supplying products to new markets. To support this growth, they planned to purchase petroleum products from a reliable supplier in Saudi Arabia. However, the supplier required a BCL MT799 to confirm the buyer’s financial capability before proceeding with the deal.
Challenge: To Find Trade Finance Providers to Avail BCL Letter
The trader first approached their bank to arrange the required BCL, but the available options required additional financial commitments. Since they did not want to block their working capital, they started searching for alternative trade finance providers.
During their search, they found Bronze Wing Trading and reviewed our BCL services. After understanding our process, they contacted our team and shared their transaction requirements.
Solution: How We Issued Comfort Letter from Bank
After receiving the request, our team discussed the transaction details with the client and explained the process clearly. We reviewed the required documents, provided the service agreement, and guided the client through the necessary formalities.
Once the client approved the draft and completed the required process, we instructed our banking partner to issue the Bank Comfort Letter through SWIFT MT799 in favour of the supplier.
Outcome: The Seller Sent POP to the Buyer
After receiving the MT799, the seller was satisfied with the buyer’s financial confirmation and provided the Proof of Product (POP) to the buyer’s bank.
The buyer was then able to proceed with the next stage of the petroleum product transaction and continue discussions with the supplier.
